How did slavs with a potato budget beat Ass Effect with its 500 million dollar budget?
Witcher 3 budget: 81 million
Andromeda budget: 40 million
>>385328661
the secret ingredient called lovefrom the dick of course
>>385328817
tortanic budget was like 150-200 million dollars and it was dogshit, bioware couldn't develop a better game even if they had one billion dollars as budget. CDPR are a good company that's just that
>>385328817
>40 million
you forgot the marketing obviously
Fuck, imagine a Witcher VR Experience when she turns around and gives you that look.

>Not knowing jack shit about game development...
>>385328661
they used an algoritmic system to produce dialogue animations but had to manually polish (kek) them.
they are in a country that doesn't hire people just because they are women or black
they are a company that still retains their passion for their games
IMO the only flaws Witcher 3 has is a weak late story, and a below-average combat
>>385328661
Not that hard to beat a game made by the rejects of a company who spent three years of development shit posting on Twitter and trying to get procedural world generation working up to the quality demanded by EA because they had a fucking hard on for No Man Sky. The bulk of Andromeda was shat out in 18 months because they handed it to fucktards who should have only been used to help bigger projects since they obviously can't into self management.
>>385330116
It counts marketing too, quit trying
Budget was not a potato, and CDPR was already an established, successful company, thanks to Witcher 1 and 2.
>>385330116
Witcher 3 had shitload of marketing, and shills on /v/ as well.
>>385330042
>CDPR are a good company that's just that
Yet they never made one good game
>>385330554
(you)
>Anthem comes out next year
>Cyberpunk is at least 6 years away
I'd rather get consistently good games than one great one a decade.
>>385330554
Try again biodrone
>>385330812
>bioware produces consistently good games
>cyberpunk is 6 years away
you should stop
>>385330504
the 80 millions include the marketing that's why i'm asking
>>385330763
Wow a shiity action non-RPG
>>385331030
> he fell for obvious bait
if you see a post that doesn't make sense it's usually someone trolling you and not an actually retard newfriend
Witcher 3 is shit and not a RPG
EU workers literally get paid less than Americans, it's why people want to live in the US.
A developer in America is likely to get paid 50-60k/year and that is below average, so someone working for Bioware or EA might even get more than that.
Of course not the interns or the outsourced teams that made that shithole Andromeda, those get paid in monopoly money, but the point I want to make is that a good developer in a poor eastern European country like Poland probably gets paid 30k/40k per year AT BEST.
>>385331462
>Still buttblasted after 2 years
lol
>>385331462
Sad!
>>385328661
CDPR put the money into developing the game
Bioware hired "consultants" that made sure the game was diverse enough and not sexist, racist, ableist, transphobe, fat shaming, [insert SJW boogeyman here] etc.
>>385331030
ME3 was good, DA:I was good, Andromeda was alright
>>385331228
Lord forbid anyone invade your safe space with an original opinion.
>>385328661
There are two kinds of worker. Those who love what they do and those who do it for the money.
>>385331218
>non-RPG
>has more roleplaying than Baldurs Gate 1
At this point you may as well just say "there's no such thing as an RPG that isn't tabletop" and leave it at that
>>385332054
>ME3 was good, DA:I was good, Andromeda was alright
Well, Europeans are the master race. But when they're not based because they became retarded quota SJWs from leafland then obviously they're unable to compete.
t. Russian
God bless Poland
>>385330252
>that emotionless disinterested look
yeah a real urethra tingler
>>385328661
>Po(o)land average monthly wage = 1021 dollars
>America average monthly wage = 4800 dollars
There's your answer.

Search this on google: the-witcher-3-cost-32m-to-make-35m-spent-on-marketing
This is how the game became a sucess, and the obvious paid reviews like Angry Joe's review who visited CDPR a week before the game's launch (him and a lot of youtubers).
Ciri truly is a miracle of the universe

Trap Geralt. Gross.
>>385336752
