Is there a fighting game with a better tutorial/training mode than Skullgirls?
I have been trying to get back into fighting games after almost 10 years and never have i seen such an in-depth tutorial.
Are there any other games like that but with an actual player base?
Guilty Gear Xrd, Uniel
Now get out.
GG and UNIST have breddy gud tutorials

>tfw couldn't pass skullgirl's tutorial
truly my weakest genre
I didn't really find the Skullgirls tutorial to be as great as everyone made it out to be. That shit was hyped to death as being a fantastic entry point for New comers. It was about as comparable to BB from what I remembered.
People have learned from Skullgirls' tutorial. Killer Instint has a very comprehensive general tutorial as well, though it's not as character-targeted as Guilty Gear Xrd. That said, KI provides way more information than most fighters, including framedata - whether a move is + or - in any given situation - as well as specific explanations for every character's moves, passive abilities and Instinct.

It's more the fact that Skullgirls set a new minimum standard for fighting game tutorials. Up to that point, fighting games had notoriously shitty or nonexistant tutorials.
also killer instinct

Oh, KI also has BUILT-IN HITBOXES.

its not only the tutorial but Skullgirls also has the best Training mode of any fighting game.
