Don't want to go through all the hassle installing vpn, making accounts, downloading clients, patching them to find out I'm not going to play the game. I downloaded PSO2 which is 50 gigs coming off from Japanese servers etc and... it's just wasted bandwidth. It's better not to play MMOs especially Jap ones. It's a bit of a bother to get going but after the initial setup it's not too bad at all, and you don't play with the VPN so you get to have your actual speeds instead of terrible VPN speeds.

I only played it during beta. Shit infuriated me, because even though its an MMO I'd rather play a lone, treat it like DD2 as much as I can. But the rage mechanic was utter trash as solo. If they fixed it that's cool though. Still don't think I'd play it, though there's always been a little part of me that wants to.

Been a while since I last played it, but to play without vpn now I think they added extra checks or something, so now you can't disable vpn at character select screen.
It was pretty easy to circumvent as capcom can't do online for shit but I can't really remember how it works or even if you need it, but I remember I had to.
Just go cmd or make a bat and type

Best way to derage boss monsters is to kick the shit out of them effectively (as in, using their elemental weakness, on their (preferably revealed by a healer) weakspots).

Notice how near the end 40% of the stamina disappears and it turns blue, that means you 'broke' the monsters stamina by damaging it effectively. If you shake it during the period that the stamina is blue (5-10) seconds is two to three times as effective.

Like almost every single boss fight half the fight was just shaking if you weren't playing a certain few classes. Now everyone gets to fight as much as they like.

If you were playing with actual people (and had a blue+green class) then about half or a bit more is about right.

If you're playing with 2 or more pawns or with 4 dps then yes the vast majority of the fight was just humping the monster.

I love DD and have played through it multiple times. I found this game boring as hell. Also it runs like fucking garbage and eats up all your CPU and almost none of your GPU. In addition, I'm tired of this faggot spamming his shitty webms in every thread he can.

classic dragon's dogma appeal was its simplicity and logical continuity in its 3 main archetypes ( fighter, archer, mage ) and their hybrids
no goofy and silly crap, kinda similar to dark souls

but this looks more like tera with it's gunners, brawlers and whatnot classes designed solely to keep people coming back to the game to try a new class out.

id rather be playing monster hunter than this at this point.
