Let's use this template to turn a video games character into a "radical dude with attitude" who is the mascot of their favorite corporate snack.
I have a few examples of what I mean that I'll be posting.
>tried to use the actual sprite colors for this one
>ended up going way overboard for something like this
>burnt myself out
Fucking kill me.
Obviously, I stopped caring before I started with this one.
This actually had a game.
I just made it to blow off steam, but wow.

Honestly, it gave me appreciation for how fucking detailed some of the color jobs in M&L:SS actually are.
Luigi's tongue is actually two shades of brown, but, I guess combined with the quick action of eating items or the GBA's native screen, I never noticed until today.
They're deceptively simple, but utilize a handful of colors pretty well, especially for shading. I didn't even notice that the "black" on the outlines was actually a dark shade of brown until, once again, today.
Here I was just trying to make a small homage to a meme image (supernut.jpg) with the usage of Luigi, but I ended up having a (mostly) nice learning experience. Ain't that some shit.
Ain't nothing compared to what I've seen from old Jap PC games. I don't know how the fuck they pulled so much color out their asses with only 16 different colors at a time. Color blending with dithering is crazy shit.
