I emulated both PS2 Personas on my old PC (Athlon X2 6000+ and GeForce 250) and I had at most speed down to 75%. Your setup is overkill, until emulator itself is faulty.

Wow. I was expecting a toaster for someone questioning whether they could emulate a PS2 game. You're golden dude. My CPU is a 2500K which is a little bit weaker than yours and I've got the same GPU currently, except back when I emulated Persona 3 I only had a Radeon 6950 which is like 1/3 as powerful as a 1060.
