Personally, I want Prime 4 to be far more non-linear/open compared to the previous games.

Not a full open world but something like this:
>To get the next macguffin or get to the next power up you need/want you need to go from point A to B.
>You can either take route 1 which requires the Varia Suit, Space Jump and Plasma Beam and getting the Plasma Beam required either the Grapple Beam or Screw Attack first.
or
>You can take route 2 which requires Power Bombs and has harder enemies, but to get said Power Bombs you need to get the Speed Booster or Spider Ball first.

I want to see an "open" Metroid which the "open" just means you don't have to get the power ups in a set order. There should always be several different ways to get every item in the game.
