What the shit, who cares about this shitty new costume and one reskinned enemy (original goon already was mutated, wtf).
The base game had incredible gameplay mix with satisfying parkour, melee and level-design, but absolutely horrible plot and characters.

Story is meh, Single Player is alright and gets pretty tense early on, especially at night. Eventually you get access to a couple of pretty good skills, one extremely broken one (I'm pretty sure you already know which one since you've played Co-Op) for traversal. Progression is alright, you can feel stronger as you level up and progress through the game, but buying weapons is pretty much a meme.

Just what this game needs: another enemy with shockwaves that makes DaS2 look good.

I think it's impossible to win as a mutie in the expansion. There's almost no places to properly hide and buggy makes it a lot harder. Survivor's sense is broken as fuck and makes ambushes impossible.

I mean, that's nice and all, but I'd way prefer that same effort be put into making another game instead. Dying Light came out of nowhere and basically was the good Dead Island I had always wanted to see. I wish they'd just put the effort into making a new one instead, or announce that a sequel is coming if they're already making one. I don't think most people will be coming back to Dying Light for another playthrough because they added a few new enemy reskins, some new weapons, and some generic quests.

Vaulting over zombies and dropping down with my M1 lethal attack was my favorite way of taking them out.
