>60 DOLLARS FOR A FUCKING BOX, A MANUAL THAT DOESN'T FIT IN IT AND NO GAME!

Is Mighty No.9 the greatest blunder of the 2010s?
Why is the manual in chinese?

It's not.
>>385199674
>manual doesn't fit in the box
Then how did they transfer it? I don't know, seems fake as fuck to me.
>>385199674
>To cut corners on shipping prices you have to assemble it yourself
I almost feel sad for Comcept, they're so fucking poor they have to cut corners literally everywhere
>>385200005
The box is diy, it comes flat-packed with the manual.
>>385199674
>people still care about what babycastles is doing
>>385199674
Isn't this technically fraud? He should contact a lawyer.
>>385200012
That makes sense though.
It's a cardboard game box. Sending that fully assembled in the post is just asking for it to be damaged.
Having it flat-packed makes it more likely to arrived without damage.
>>385199674
>get the smaller box, designed after the famicom
>complain that the us sized manual doesn't fit
>complain that it didn't come with a physical copy of the game when it never said anywhere that it would
I'd never defend shitty number 9, but this guy is also retarded
>>385201390
Neither of the fucking manuals fit. That's pretty goddamned stupid.
>>385201390
Anon, NONE of the manuals fit.
>>385199674
Jesus fucking Christ.
>>385199674
So how did that dinner with Inafune go?
>>385201390
so you're ok with paying 60 dollars for an empty carboard box you have to build yourself?
>not a single comment about his nails.
/v/ what happens ?
>>385199674
>>385204641
>$60 box
>supply game yourself!
Was there a physical release that was seperate from this, or do they just have no clue what the point of having the physical release is?
>>385204347
He just spat in my pasta and laughed at me....
>>385201939
>>385203869
Ok that I didn't know, that's pretty bad that it still doesn't fit in the us box.
>>385204641
Don't be stupid, it wasn't $60 for a box, it was a $60 reward tier that included everything else. And the box was obviously intended for display purposes, so would you rather they shipped an empty box that would be way more likely to get dinged and bent during shipping?
>>385204805
There was eventually a physical release, but there's no mention of a physical game anywhere on the Kickstarter that I can see
>>385205286
Because at the time of the campaign there were no plans for a physical release. That's why a reward tier included OP's box so you could have something to display.
Only after it was funded did a publisher come out and made a physical release.
>>385204641
That tier wasn't just the box, it was the game in digital form and the box. Can't recall if that tier also included the golden Beck DLC and the soundtrack. And given how the box is for display only, it's better they have you build it yourself because otherwise it could easily get damaged during shipping. Manual not fitting is bad though.

true, that shit would get smashed so quick.
