honestly, I'm more concerned about Nito, I mean, most bosses in game have been corrupted somehow, especially the ones with lord souls, you got the witch, became bed of chaos, death went mad, the four kings got consumed by the abyss and Gwyn, well Gwyn went hollow after lighting the fire.
as far as we know Nito was sane and uncorrupted, just minding his own business, and you barge on into his home and kill his ass.
