Not that anon, but it's less stealth and more sneaking. You can crouch behind certain cover setpieces and dash between them to sneak around the enemies, or direction to an enemy to get an ambush advantage in battle.

It's a mechanic that you will use frequently throughout the whole game, but it's not particularly deep. I found that the sneaking felt fun, for lack of better phrasing, but that's about as far as the stealth goes, aside from a few dungeon gimmicks throughout the game.

I, too, loved Persona 3, and thought Persona 5 was a step up in every way, except for how party member Persona transformations are handled. Do check it out if you get the chance and want some more SMT/Persona gameplay.

5 is a big step up mechanically. Has a lot of QOL improvements, the main dungeons are actually properly designed instead of random floors, and the stealth elements basically have you sneaking around cover and ambushing enemies but with a greater focus. Every main dungeon has an alert meter now, that once it reaches 100% you get kicked out now so stealth is a bigger deal.

Story does deal with a different theme this time around. This time the theme is about Freedom and rebelling from Society.
