The sanbox is vastly improved over RTC, it has tons of options and detail, it is very impressive and expansive.
The career mode is kinda barebones and unbalanced, and is the most "early access" part of the game.

The proportions are nice but that's it. Both the detail and the colouring job are horrible and it hurts the eyes to look at it with how out of focus half of it appears to improperly be.

yeah, i've played quite a lot of it. i think it's really good.

pros:
>comfy as fuck- music and aesthetics and really pleasant and it's easy to spend ages just exploring your park
>gives you a great amount of control over micromanaging the park if you're into that
>coaster construction is intricate but intuitive
>shitloads of options for all types of park objects
>workshop support is huge and filled with stuff
>updates are free and pretty frequent

cons
>career mode's lacking in much besides "get x visitors, make y profit, research z item"
>i can't speak for everyone cos i play on a mid-range laptop, but after filling about 20% of the park densely and getting around 7-8k visitors the framerate completely tanks. not sure if it's just my processor though.
>the litter shit gets annoying and constantly getting whined at despite having 500 cleaners is irritating

overall i do really recommend it, it's a great coaster sim but it's not without flaws. for me they don't compromise the experience. the fundamental one is the framerate though

Huh. I can see how that makes sense in theory, but it's gotta make it annoying when you add new attractions and stuff. In RCT you didn't have to worry when you added a new ride in an area you had already developed because it was probably already in a mechanic's territory.

I thought Planet Coaster was a Paradox published game until a few moments ago.
Was there something between PC and Paradox/Cities Skylines or did I just make something up?
