Daily Witcher 3 argument thread There is literally nothing wrong

having gone back to play the expansions recently. I can say the combat isn't as bad as people make it out to be, but it's definitely the weakest part of the game and not as smooth as I would've liked it to be.
The runewrites in HoS really added a lot in my opinion. I felt like it was a lot of fun. But yeah, it's just...the movement isn't that responsive and it's kind of jarring at points.
So cdp definitely need to do better with cyberpunk, but it's not 'bad' combat

As a huge fanboy of the witcher series, I have to agree that the combat could have been much better. Even on death march, I found the combat to begin to grow a bit tiresome and flat.
This problem, however isnt just isolated with witcher 3 though. It pleagues the entire trilogy.

I liked the Yrden in the Witcher 2 better. Its a pretty much a guaranteed stun if they move into it during their attack animation. And their stunned body makes for easy block of chokepoints.

It also turns the Letho fight into a complete joke.

This game's main problem is that it does a lot of pointless shit instead of focusing on important stuff.
>why make so good level and map design when most of the time i look at minimap/red trails from my Batman senses
>why the fuck items have rarity? it's not like they made a fucking Diablo clone or something. It's also not like monsters can drop you some super rare Epic tier item if you grind or that you can respawn bosses that drop them
>why give me that stupid ghost lamp and that illusion delet talisman when i will never fucking use them outside their own quests, there are no puzzles or other quests that require/have different ending when you have them so what's the point? also if there is an illusion it looks like you're high on fisstech and Geralt comments "HMM AN ILLUSION" if you're by any chance retarded
>why fill my equipment with garbage items? most of them looks like shit (fat armors, plate armors for a witcher just wtf) or are total trash, their stats also suck i won't use them anyway, why won't make less weapons but more unique like Aerondight from BaW or Iris from HoS.

>why even make underwater combat when there is no underwater exploration (RIP promised vodyanoi cities/ruins)
>why all hubs are available from beginning even though the progression is clearly meant to be linear in final product, Skellige quests and monsters are much higher level than Velen/Novigrad
(to mention, this one can be kinda explained as at first you were supposed to choose where you want to start and there are additional dialogues with Yen, Triss and Baron if you go to Skellige first)
If CDPR did not waste resources on all of that and focused instead of making combat or gameplay good this game would be so much better.
