Did Hideo get kicked from Konami on purpose to draw on parallels between his game and Moby Dick while also creating hate (and also marketing) towards his new company making himself immensely more popular than he ever would have been had he not been "taken out" like a martyr god of video gaming? It all seems like a quite shrewd plot just to give a real life pain to the amazing story that is Metal Gear while also generating popularity for himself and Death Stranding at the same time while having a big joke with himself and everyone else in nipponland about how we actually think they actually fired him?

Konami is just literally ran by old men who hate video games at this point, all while enforcing borderline concentration camp -tier rules and discipline within the studio's HQ these days.
