I played 1 first so I don't know if I'm okay with saying 2 is better. MGS2 is probably the best sequel to a video game ever made, and the gameplay is still razor sharp to this day.

And this is bad because? Exactly because it's a corridor the pacing is flawless from start to finish, level design is perfect and everything is tight.

Also, GZ is a complete masterpiece gameplay wise. If 2/3 of TPP weren't missing, it would have been the best. As it stands right now, MGS and GZ are the best.

literally ALL THEY HAD TO DO was a series of GZ styled levels you could handle in mission select, then take a 'procure onsite' approach to inventory just like in Camp Omega - cut all the stupid Motherbase and baloon nonsense, make it an actual fucking stealth game.

I wish Kojima took inspiration from games like Dishonored instead of GTA, because Dishonored knows how to do a shitload with very little space, meanwhile a GTA style map can get very fucking bland if you dont know what you're doing (which is exactly what happened)
