If its made right, where you play as Chucky and have to play actually realistic and smart, it could be pretty cool. Like, you hide in a room, the target comes in, and you have to attack when their guard is down, and also from a angle to prevent them running away, and prevent them from reaching a superior weapon in said room or something, and have to pick the most silent way of killing them or try to be reckless and hide when people come running after hearing you kill, it could be pretty cool. This as well. A game centered on dream sequences would be awesome. And that kind of game could work both ways. Playing a human makes it a survival game of trying to aways find stuff to stay awake until you find the thing you need to beat Freddy when you fall asleep, and playing Freddy can be all about figuring out which dream sequence to use that will actually work, and it has to relate to the human characters fears.

Both would be great, but we seem to live in a world where horror movie games are barely ever made, or made well.

They said Summer, but it probably won't be for a long time, and it will inevitably be shovelware-tier. The devs should be patching bugs and working on new maps, counselors, Jasons and game modes, not screwing around with a singleplayer mode that no one actually wants.

By that, I mean that no one wants the singleplayer the game will have, the only kind of singleplayer a unique multiplayer driven game like this could have. When people said they wanted singleplayer in F13, they meant they wanted the devs to cancel the game and redesign it from the ground up as a singleplayer game. They just weren't intelligent enough to articulate that.
