anyone who unironically thinks 2 in any form is superior to any From souls game is wrong. It can be your favorite or you can like more than another, god knows why, but from a technical and design standpoint it is the most flawed of any souls games

No, the exact opposite, ADP is so fucking useful and broken it boggles my mind. When you tie I-frames, attack speed, and attack fludity to a single stat I can't see where play testers missed this flaw and didn't tell from "hey, setting all players to an even shittier state than DaS or DeS because of stat and not their technical skill seems counterintuitive to the souls spirit, doesn't it?" and the b team was just like "Nah, let them die loloolol." It's disgusting

Attack speed and attack fluidity isn't tied to ADP though.

Being able to move between dodging or blocking and finding enemy weakness does effect attack speed and attack fludity you dingus. When you're stuck behind a stat wall of not being able to roll or properly escape damage through roll/block, then it effects how quickly you can get atttacks in and how you can go from roll-hit or block-hit. Obviously in previous games this was effected by stamina, but you have multiple ways to circumfent it in every soul game. By breaking this further into another stat that makes one option unusable without upgrade you're destroying the already broken balance souls combat has
