Why does nintendo keep forcing stupid suffixes as game titles and why was the Gamecube, the only good Nintendo platform, exempt from it? You never saw a "Mario cube" 'Zelda cube" "Pokemon cube"

I liked the Super suffix though, I even like the 64 suffix.

The NES was the standard for the early titles and all consoles after it built off of the original. Likewise, the gamecube became the standard for a new generation of nintendo games so all the games after had to be differentiated from the new standard somehow

switch doesnt have any suffixes tho

Marketing.
"Cube" doesn't work well as a subtitle.
Because they make the same 4-5 games over and over again. They need to differentiate them some how

Try again, OP.
Gamecube:
>Cubivore
>ZooCube
>Pokemon Box: Ruby and Sapphire (boxes are cubed)
>Block Party (Wii games were basically Gamecube games)
