ITT: Good games you have yet to "get into."
I need to give this another shot.
Dead Rising 1. Been on my list for a while
Just can't

This exactly. I've tried three times and it seems so great but it hasn't clicked.

It's great, original 360 one tough.

Metal Gear Solid, the amount of dialogue puts me off
Metro 2033 probably because /v/ praises it. I just don't like slavshit setting because i already live in slavshit country
pretty much any high technology or future game
I just dont find the setting interesting at all

it gets better when you get to the bar
the first part is really rough on newcomers
>>385063896
I wish I could erase my memory about everything I've read about how great this series is so I could discover it by myself without expecting too much out of it but at same time knowing that it won't be something revolutionnary

Get GMDX v9
I think all of you just need to be more open-minded. There isn't a single recommended game I have yet to be disappointed by.

Same here OP. I got bored at Hong Kong. I think my mistake was trying to play the game as a stealthy non-lethal agent the whole. I hear it's a lot better going full cyborg killing machine.
The witcher
I played 2 for a little bit, thought dam I should play the first one so I know whats going on!
Never did, then 3 came out and still never did

Devil May Cry, though I've only tried DMC3.
I like Ninja Gaiden, I like God of War, etc. but something about DMC3 annoys me. The stylistic variety is neat, though.

Do it OP, take your time, pick the GEP gun, take the point out of pistols, you'll get a free point and get trained anyway. explore the level, find your options.save paul ;_;

Ninja Gaiden, RE 1, Deadly Premonition
>>385063896
this and system shock 2. im turned off by the beginning of the games so much so i push it aside
I've had TW2 on my computer for a year and a half now. I played 6 hours of it but the controls felt really annoying and I couldn't be assed to get used to them.

Ninja Gaiden Black is easily one of the best games on the original Xbox.
Gotsta try this game again
It's been too long since I've last played any SRPG I just can't get into it easily.

I dropped that shit when it seemed like a random encounter could last up to 30+ minutes. Fuck that shit, I want to do other shit with my life as well. I've almost never found a jrpg past the 4th gen that doesn't seem content to waste my time with braindead combat and retarded animu plots.

Pretty fun game, but I hate that you can't view the map before setting formation or even see where on the map you're even placing your units. You also can't change character setups during this formation part, which kinda dampens the strategic aspect of the game.
