Is there such a thing as someone "bad at video games"? Or "good at video games"?
I mean, you can be bad/good at FPSses. You can be bad/good at Action RPGs. I can see people being bad/good at specific games or genres, but not "at video games" as a whole.
That's like being bad or good at every single possible sport, it just isn't possible. You should be able to play something at least moderately well/suck at something, right?
I've met tons of people that sucks at just about every game genre. Mostly girls though.

Are you retarded? An average 80 year old will suck at all sports and an average 18 year old might be decent at all sports. Same thing with video games. Skill is not subjective.

>Tfw get girlfriend into more vidya
>Starts getting better Smash and is able to beat me fairly
>Comes up with good strategies in Advance Wars and Fire Emblem
>Excited to play RPGs switching off with me
Literally the best feeling.

>using the word "getting better" with "Smash
>"Strategies" in Advance Wars and Fire Emblem other than common sense.
Go away, woman. You're not fooling anyone.

Skill actually is subjective. Not everyone has the same skill level, dumbass.

People who are bad at games usually haven't played very many, and thus get confused with mechanics, or only played a couple popular games and didn't do well. I have a friend who claims she's bad at games, but has only tried real time games. I keep telling her to try turn based, but meh.

"Being bad at all video games" is mostly about total lack of experience, being good on other hand is all about practice. Nobody is inherently good or bad at vidya because of some inherent limitation or excellence of their body or brain, anybody with normal functioning brain is just as good as how much they've practiced.

subjective means that measurements can't be used to differentiate between objects
Objective means that it can.
Everyone not having the same level => levels can be differentiated => Objective
Go back to middleschool, faggot.
I'd say it's all in how you apply yourself to the game.
If you don't take the time to practice or understand the mechanics you'll always be 'bad', unless you're just some super intuitive wizard.
