What is your go-to grindy game? Something that you can just turn your brain off and play for hours. Whether it's n++ or diablo/poe for the loot or just grinding levels in some dead k-mmo. What do you go to?
Personally I've been trying old games like warframe and shit but it just doesn't have that grindy charm that it had back when I first played it.
I would love to get into fall of oriath but I'm not too sure if they're going to player wipe on release. But that 10 day wait is too much.

My first brainless background game for music listening purposes was WoW. Then I somehow got into hardcore pve guild and burnt out within a month, never played again.
Then I played Diablo 2 for the same reason. Got necro up to lvl 94 and a lot more characters to lower level, but when my lvl 91 hc paladin died I was done with the game.
Tried PoE but I just don't like gear/looting system there and when I last played, endgame content was boring as fuck
So now I'm playing seasonal Diablo 3. Got to admit I'm already sick and tired of old classes and rifts, so maybe I will buy necro next time I feel like playing. I don't know, I'm pretty fed up with the game in general because there hasn't been any new content for ages now aside from 5 minute locations. But qol improvements are on point

Right now it's a private RO server and PoE. I've been on the hunt for some mindless grindy games to kill time with but not really successful.
