If EA just released a remaster of all three original Mass Effect games with all DLC tomorrow for 70-80$, would you buy it? At this point I'd rather just have the collection since Bioware went to shit and new games would reflect that.
>>385042838
I already own the games. Why would I buy them again?
>>385042838
never. fuck them.
>>385042838
Absolutely fucking not
>>385042838
If the remaster has another ending with ptsd kid removed and a scene where my Shepard and Tali have adopted some kids and are living on Rannoch
>>385042838
Day 1 pirate
>>385042838
I'm not paying $80 for one clunky but enjoyable game and two shitty ones.
No lol. Maybe if it was only the first one and it was $10
>>385042838
If they remade the first one, I would wait until it was dirt cheap (holiday sales) or something similar. I don't need a remaster, since that kinda stuff only appeals to console players who literally cannot upgrade the textures and resolution.
Mass effect 1 and 2 somehow redone in frostbite with the classic pause mechanics and not andromeda mechanics, yes.
>>385042838
>70-80
No, like 25 tops
ME 1 was hanky, NE 2 was disappointing, ME 3 was a joke.
Why the fuck would I ever buy them?
>>385042838
No. A stupid fucking cashgrab for a talentless company? The very idea of that makes me mad
>>385042838
>for 70-80$
oh hell naw, unless they use that money to make me a life like Jack fuck doll, they can go fuck themselves.
>>385042838
>giving money to EA
Fuck off.
>>385042838
>spending a single dollar on this series at this point
Lol
>>385044497
>classic pause mechanics
>Implying they wouldn't "streamline" the gameplay so that you have one ability at a time
Been boycotting EA for a few years now. And Mass Effect is shit.
I'd buy it for half that maybe.
>>385042838
>EA
>Mass Effect
>buy
>mfw
>EA
>>385042838
No, they don't need a remaster.
>>385042838
What kinda fucking market research sounding tripe is that question?
>>385042838
Maybe if they would make the first one actually playable.
>>385042838
no i don't buy shit games
>>385042838
They'd have to rewrite the entirety of ME3 for me to ever give a single fuck about this series again
If it came to the Switch? Hell yeah. Otherwise? Nah. The current trilogy is fine on my PC.
>>385042838
I never liked that fucking series. Not even when it was """"""""good"""""""""""".
Besides, what the fuck would nu-Bioware even do to it? Make all the Asari ugly and fat feminists and all male characters gay?
>>385042838
no because you can "remaster" all three games on pc for free with texture mods. all the series needs is a complete collection of all three games with all dlc for 15-20 bucks without ever having to mess with biojew points, that is why 100% of people pirate the games because the dlc situation is utterly deplorable. me1 and 2 are a decade old you don't pay upwards of 80 fucking dollars for that even for a remaster, how fucking high do you even have to be to imagine such a thing?
>>385042838
nope.
I did a 'golden' playthrough of the whole trilogy once the last of the ME3 DLC came out. that completely sated all interest I had in the franchise. it has nothing left to offer me
>>385042838
>If EA-
No.
Is there even a way to get all the DLC for the Mass Effect games without paying an exorbitant amount of money. It's hilarious that you can often get the original trilogy for $10 in some places but the DLC is still the same price it was when the games came out.
>>385051945
>>385042838
I already read (played) these stories why would I want to go through the same bullshit again
>>385042838
>for 70-80$
>>385042838
While I do want a collection with all the DLCon this gen would be a plus, I'm one of those faggots who loves taking screenshots and Mass Effect would be great for itI'd wait until it was 20-30 bucks
>>385042838
Eh, probably if it was on Linux with Vulkan support and fixed the texture loading issues in the first game.
>>385042838
>If EA just released a remaster of all three original Mass Effect games with all DLC tomorrow for 70-80$, would you buy it?
If this hypothetical 'remaster' wasn't mangled to reflect the current political climate, I just might call that a worthy purchase.
Still, if Current Year BioWare didn't cock this up in spectacular fashion, I would be VERY surprised.
>Buying ANY EA game circa 2011
I can just as easily break my own balls off thank you very much
