If given the choice I usually pick any monstrous or monster like race, barring that, the race with the largest body size. As for classes, I have a very specific check list. If I can use a spear, I am likely going to pick that class. If that's not available, summoners are usually my next choice, or anything that uses pets.

I like playing Orcs because they are fun to roleplay as. You can be a dick and not feel guilty or you can be a black sheep of the tribal clan norm. Plus I like heavy armor and they usually get some sort of racial buff for it.

My favorite class would be something like a Templar or Temple Guard. Healing and big weapons. Sometimes not the most effective in one or the other but a decent support character. NOT paladins though, cant stand the holier than thou attitude that usually accompanies it.

For RPGs I only really like rolling humans. Though role playing having some Elf or Giant blood to explain your character's superior agility or strength when playing a rogue or warrior respectively is fine. Magical bloodlines are a good excuse for heroic traits. actual fantasy races should stay fantastic though. I don't really like scenarios with elves and dwarves running around town acting like particularly short or snobby civilians. They should be staying in their own places so the themes and abilities of the race can really be jammed in the player's face when they arrive there.

Martial classes are my favorite. Preferably more oriented towards attack then defense. Being a light tank is fine but being the kind of character who just has to sit their soaking hits while they do piss all damage is boring.

Human or Orc, I hate playing as gary-stu humans but better races.
Whatever class that has mauls or greathammers. If they're ridiculous oversized garbage, mace cleric also works. As long as there's a good whunk and crunch on impact, I'm satisfied.

It really depends on the setting and the lore and shit. But typically I like dwarves, orcs, and animal-like races. Elves can be fun sometimes but usually I'm not a big fan. Class depends a lot on the gameplay but I usually lean towards magic hybrid classes, things like clerics, nightblades, or magic-enhanced monks.

Almost always an Elven Hunter, or whatever class specializes in the bow and arrow. I've just always liked bows, and they usually do a lot of damage in games if you can use them right. Aside from that I just like elves.

Favorite races are Trolls from WoW. I just wish they were a bit more burly. My all time favorite are primal beast races. No furshit though. But I'm kind of a OC donut steel so I like them to look not ugly.
I like sustain based bruisers. Like Blood DK's in WoW. But even further like when you use your attacks your health is consumed, if you miss you get nothing in return. If you hit you are rewarded with additional healing.
