If the enemy doesn't have ranged, go for the attack boost on your RMB. If they've got an HK get the upgrade that doubles the duration of it as well as the one that reflects+ gives you focus. You'll be able to slam anyone directly on the guardian, priming them to be taken out by your teammates, then you can walk in front of HK and reflect his stupid focus attack that you know he's been saving to take a wound.

Distance on Q is shit and the interrupt upgrade is better. Ignite/launch are both good, viable upgrades off that first interrupt.

Also spam his jump attack, if it hits you cripple the enemy and makes it hard for them to escape.

Wu has to commit himself fully to each kill, so he isn't great at diving the back line like Tripp or Tyto. He has to be played by sitting around the edge of a fight and picking off someone who gets out of position. Alternatively, if the two teams are simply face to face, you can try to tongue a squishy character and have your team burst them down so the fight becomes a 5v4.

He is sort of awkward, but still a lot of fun when things go right. He is sort of like an assassin, but can't really assassinate, and while he is tankier than the other DPS characters, he isn't anywhere near a bruiser.

Water spirit.

Basic attack is a continuous high pressure jet of water he has to keep trained on someone to deal damage.
Upgrade paths make it either slow or poisonous, with further upgrades to either attribute.

Right click turns him into a mini-wave that dashes forwards for damage and knockback. Upgrades either imprive the knockback or let it crack armour, with further upgrades letting it go farther/hit harder/daze/cripple.

Q erects a geyser that knocks enemies and teamates upwards, and can combo with his RMB by making a wave burst out in all directions if he dashes into it - making it good for comboing after they fall. Upgrades can remove the jet and make it a straight up wavebomb or expand the radius, and from there improve various traits.

E creates a raincloud over an area which slows any enemy in it while buffing his speed. Upgrades either improve the slow or make it follow him, and further ones focus on either speed buffs, making it cripple, or improving his RMB range with it.

Ultimate is an icy blast followed by a gust of wind which flashfreezes and then cracks anyone 'wet' from his attacks for big damage after an interrupt.

Sometimes someone actually does leave their creatures but no more than a few steps so they can run back to it as soon they hit 60% HP.

I made two more, now of a Pakko game. Nothing exciting, just things I thought were funny.

Just started playing this. It's fucking fun. I love Tyto and after a couple bot matches I thought I was ready but I got absolutely shitted on in real matches. Any tips on builds and using his kit effectively? I noticed I kept using his leap incorrectly, i.e. The damage isn't until the slash after the leap, so you have to angle downwards if the enemy is fairly close by.

Beyond that though I have no idea when I should be using his spin2win, when I should be autoing, and when I should be dodging and lunging. His lunge in particular is really cool but it's hard to aim. Is there an ideal order for attacks? I really wanna git gud. The game seemed spammy in videos but really it plays like an arena shooter. Crazy fast and even with melee characters mouse sensitivity and accuracy can make the difference between landing a kill or not.

So, how do into Tyto/this game, fellas?

A good Tripp or Tyto will flank into enemy territory and start harassing their creatures. It usually pulls one or two guys to defend it, and the rest of your team can push up. If no one responds, it's a free creature kill.

You get his speed upgrade on his jump and his focus. You get in and pick people off or water them down and then you get out. You can also help people backdoor creatures if you get armor break on your rat.

You don't have to be in the fray all the time. I generally just run around the map scouting and trying to be a diversion, occasionally harassing weaker enemies. And when the enemy's distracted with other allies, I go in from behind to cripple and kill them or to finish off anyone who's low.

The dota-clone part is pretty boring. The 3v3 arena is a little more interesting (because it's quick) but it's also still pretty boring. The MMO-like dungeon grinding is rather tired too, but it's actually the best part of it. It's pretty irredeemable garbage.

Not a huge Tyto player, but when I do play him, I like bleed and speed. Some stuff to get rid of debuffs, no teleport on Fang. I want to recover as fast as possible so I can get back into the fights, so get that as well. What's important is to build what works best for fighting your current opponents. Do you need more armor cracking abilities? Do they have a lot of tanky guys? Then build more bleed. Are they fast? Be faster, maybe take slow on fang. It all varies.

You just have to account for how much you move forward when you attack from the air. It takes practice, and you'll miss a lot, but eventually you hit some beautiful jump attacks.

Can I get some advice or tips for Tyto? I know he is a good hero, but when I play him I feel like even when I apply all my bleeds and such to people, they simply get away and don't die. It's very hard to get a kill without committing your right click, and if you do you pretty much always die after.

Can any of you Tyto players help me out?

stagger your bleeds. when a new bleed effect is applied, the previous one ticks at like 10% damage. basically, when you see them stop bleeding hit them with another bleed skill.
