It makes me feel bad but I've lost my shit so much on Street Fighter 5 that I simply refuse to play that game anymore. I can do Karin's 13-hit combo extremely consistently in training mode, but online it feels like I have a 50% chance of landing any part of the combo. What gets me really rage-quittingly angry is when I'm essentially just gamewatching. You know, when you get booted out again and again and you're just sitting there waiting for the rest to finish so you can get booted out again. There's just something inherently infuriating about not getting to do the thing you set out to do. Especially if it's a competition of skill, because then you don't even get to put in the practice to become better while the people who are already outperforming you are learning before your very eyes.

There are also games that feel less fair than others. I briefly played Virtua Fighter 5, and it was fun when we all had the same skill level. But the guy who owned the game picked a main and practiced to the point where he was simply winning most of the time. Neither I nor the guy's brother had any desire to play the game any more after that. I've played Street Fighter against both, and still got my ass soundly kicked, but it just never felt as bad.

Conversely, there are also people who can't tell genuine trash talk from letting off some steam.

I used to rage really hard when I was younger, then I got older and watched how people progressively seemed to take less and less accountability for their own mistakes over the Internet (it's prolly anecdotal and was always this way) and it's made me take most of losses in anything in stride, even if I outright lose to someone because they outplayed me, I try to figure out what I did wrong and work on it.
