You wanna know who cries about generation defining games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds? Sissies who want hand-holding experiences. The same little bitches who would cry to mommy first after being punched in the face rather than returning the punch back. Us hardcore gamers know that developers are there to test our gaming prowess and ability to use critical thinking and beat them at their own game. I continue to impress myself with how many times I can get to top #5 or WWCD at impossible odds like shitty loot spawns and terrible circle rolls. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds takes the tried and true arena FPS formula and the ever so popular battle royale genre but instead of outright making a cash-in clone, it improves every aspect where possible by fixing what needed to be fixed in the first place. Sure, at the moment it doesn't look so pretty but it's been in beta for months and games at this scale do not take months to get into a polished state. How about we look at what works and appreciate it as more comes down the line instead of trashing it because it not only hurts the potential of what it will eventually be but you yourself are missing out on a great game.
