Something weird Ive noticed. Big budget AAA games get announced at E3 all the time and its normal now. However when you go the studio websites for details, you find almost half of the team has job vacancies. And not for grunt work, Im talking positions like lead director, lead game designer etc.
The most recent case is Days Gone. Just look at Bend Studio's careers page:

Youd presume these positions were filled before the game got announced. Could this be a reason of games coming out shit these days?

A lot of companies will always keep roles for experienced artists, animators, programmers and designers open, even if they're filled, just because they're thinking ahead to future projects and having more experienced staff is never a bad thing.

But how do you know that? Nowhere on that page does it say the positions are for Days Gone, the only mention of what the positions are for is "a new AAA PlayStation 4 exclusive" which from all we can infer could be an entirely separate IP.
