ZTD might be a meme around here, but I actually like it better than 999 and VLR.

999 and VLR were great up until the true ending, upon which you need to read a 10 page Q&A session to fill in all the holes left by all the twists.

ZTD meanwhile had a crazy bonkers plot and didn't deliver on the promises from the Q&A sessions, but the big twists were far better done.

I really liked how they handled the Q twist. Stuff like the shadows, the offhand comments, it was basically all but right in my face the entire game and I was succesfully fooled. Same with all teams not being awake at the same time and the facility being one area rather than three. And the scene where Sean realizes he is a robot sends shivers down my spine no matter how often I rewatch it.

I agree the time travel babies plot isn't the best, though, and Mira being the robed killer and randomly murdering everyone in one route really makes no sense.

Botttom line, I'm not saying ZTD is perfect, but it handles these few things so well the game didn't really disappoint me.
