Great music, especially if you're playing a version that uses the orchestrated soundtrack in-game. Also Toriyama's style has grown on me. Colorful visuals and great music and admittedly piss-easy combat makes them very comfy games. I think from the beginning Yamauchi criticized DQ because all you had to do was press A to win.
