This is the only game were I saw an AI as an actual living being, I didn't treat Trico like an NPC but like an animal and it was amazing.

I think you need to have played a lot of video games to appreciate The Last Guardian. The level of detail this game put in to make him believable is mindblowing. Shame about the awful controls.

Nah, I'm sorry to break it to you, but the Last Guardian failed at what it tried to do overall, even if it got some things right. Anyone who has played this game can tell that they basically did not know what kind of game they actually wanted to make and had the concept of "bond with bird-dog" as their highest priority without actually knowing how to translate that into a meaningful game.

Also they basically just ripped the ICO concept but now with a giant animal, but unfortunately what worked for ICO does not really work for Last Doggo. The game also just plain doesn't work, which no isn't just the beautiful liveliness of the animal because they demonstrated it being capable of comprehending way higher level of problems or abstractions in cutscenes but then you play it and the animal can't figure out how to go forward in what is basically a game long tunnel where there is no where else to go. It sucked and the game straight up doesn't work. Sorry faggot, no goldstars for "trying".

SotC was one of the most technically impressive PS2 games, TLG was originally a PS3 game and even after having to jump to the PS4 it STILL runs like trash. I need to know what kind of fucking shit they're pulling that's such a massive systemhog. I seriously doubt it's just poor optimization.

Much like Ico and SOTC, this """"""game"""""" is there for people to pretend is good because it's DEEP and ART. There is almost no actual gameplay. Combat consists of looking at Trico do things at a blistering 5 frames per second. Puzzles are braindead and barely qualify as puzzles. The controls are awful and made even worse by the shitty fluctuating frame rate. This is a straight up bad game. If any other company made it, people would put this "game" on blast.
