Not him but they're ridiculously overrated around here, everything about them is trash except characters and story, both of which are also blown way out of proportion here. Yes, EP's cast isn't another cast of teenagers and they are well written but that really doesn't change the fact that the dungeons are terrible, the music dull, the combat plain bad in every aspect and the random encounter rate far too high. Now that the story's been ripped off conceptually by P5 there is zero reason to play IS. Maybe for Eikichi I guess.

playing as a team in MMO was amazing. Guild Wars pretty much forced you to do everything with others, so the chat was always active and it had a great community. no matter how many times you did the same mission/quest/dungeon, it was always different seeing how everyone had different builds. everyone had their own role, and everyone played differently. no Meta, just fun messing around

nowadays MMO's are based to play alone, aside from raids/dungeons. this is why i got depressed. nothing can and will replace Guild Wars, unless there is a MMO out there that encourages team play. but i have yet to hear about it.

Played P3, MGS2, and MGS3 back to back last summer for the first time. It was a pretty emotionally rough several weeks afterward.

My new game plus of 3 left me feeling empty, my new game plus file in 4 left me satisfied since I saved the true ending for NG+, my new plus file in 5 left me thanking god that the slog was finally over.

Let me tell you, BB was absolutely stunning the first 3 or so hours, I was completely captivated and was thinking it was definitely one of the best games ever made, it rekindled my faith in vidya completely, but after a while I realized how broken, easy and repetitive it was and in the end it underwhelmed me. The shitty story, unsatisfying endings (yes I got all 3 of them via save backupping) and non-existent lore (sorry reddit, "we put it in the game for no reason other than it looked cool" is not lore) made me realize the game was a 7/10. The online was also dead and the messages I found were mostly memes so I ended up playing the whole thing offline.

Same here OP. I'm in the middle of NG+ right now, but I wish I could play it for the first time again.

This game is too right for me in every way, like it was tailored to everything I like. That and it's a "right game at the right time" kind of thing. When Persona 6 and the games after come around, I'm sure they'll be good, but I don't think any will be the same as this one for me.
