Also, inFamous 2 has some great gameplay and story, MGS is better than every 360 game listed, Resistance 3 is an alright FPS with some flaws as it is clearly a budget title, SIREN is some of the best survival horror out there, Yakuza has some of the best gameplay and long-running story in the industry, and those 20 year old PS1 games are finally in 60hz over in Europe and are dirt cheap in comparison to physical copies that usually range at $30-$50

Bullshit. The PS3 frequently had a noticeably inferior version of multiplat games, especially early in its lifespan. Games would suffer from massive framerate drops and lower graphics quality compared to the 360. This got better over time, but even in games released towards the end of the gen, like GTA V, were still inferior on PS3.

But we aren't talking PC, we're talking console, and the fact is that there will always be people who don't want to fuck with the hassls of setting up and or building a PC and want to rely on a console for their gaming/entertainment needs. The games were deeper, simple as that. They had more content and better gameplay. Let's look at Gears of War 2 versus Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2 had a single player, and then an online-only multiplayer which died a year after release. Gears 2 had a single player with co-op, horde mode, multiplayer with tons of options, maps and weapons, LAN mode, and even multiplayer bots for offline play. A game like Uncharted 2 is cool to play through once, dabble in multiplayer and then forget about. By comparison, Gears 2 had a wealth of content that could be enjoyed for years. It's the same reason why Halo 3's community persists, meanwhile games like Killzone 2 and Resistance were stillborn -- they had no fucking content and were shallow as a puddle.

I even got PS+ last year to try out online, and it ran out recently, and nothing changed except that I got a second copy of REmake on PS4.

You are missing the fact that "$60" per year equates to 0.20 cents per day and contributes to a service that is actually worth using. 360 had dedicated, Microsoft-hosted servers for EVERY game, cross-game voice chat, free games every month that you get to keep forever, less lag, better features, literally everything.

Benefits that, for the most part, should be free. Before you go on about 'muh quality', Microsoft doesn't use the Live money to improve servers or online. It gets pocketed. They're charging you for nothing really, and the free games were added in years after PS+ had started up as a service that offered deals and free games, while keeping the online free (until PS4)

While the library is subjective, the 360 had objectively better hardware with average better performance in games, the ability to install every game to the HDD and being overall more quieter than the PS3 in the later revisions.
