Sounds like the best Nintendo console ever.

Not many of its games have Switch ports, and many managed to get one cheap to use as a piracy machine to play most of the nintendo library. It's also great for couch co-op, something that Switch is surprisingly lacking in right now.

Likewise the relative inexpensiveness of a Wii U compared to a Switch or a gaming PC capable emulating makes it more of a good console to have.
