Pharos was an awesome dungeon. The layout, the music, the enemies, the atmosphere; it completed that MMO feel that FF12 already had up until this point

It wouldn't be so awful if the game wasn't afraid of giving you good items so all the good stuff has a small chance to be in every chest, and a 90% chance to be a pathetic amount of gil.
This game is poorly designed and it took 3 releases to address only half of it's problems.

Nothing related to the gameplay but goddamn is FF12 a nice looking game. The actual design of the world, large areas like towns, the Pharos, etc. feeling large and lived in, etc. It's very nice.

Yeah no, the upper half is a piece of cake. The lower half has respawning pains in the ass and is god damned difficult to navigate. Don't even get me started on The great crystal's bonus boss area.

theres no reason you should have problems with the story part of this dungeon in the remaster. its insanely easy to get strong enough to mow your way through at super speed

now the bottom subterra part of this place is a different story and the elite mark down there an even more different story
