No you can basically put any sub perk on any gear you want now,but it requires you to erase lots of the perks you want From other gear!

You basically have to play with numerous sets of gear in order to get the ones you want and apply them to your favorites.

The slosher is kind of like having a sniper on the team.

To many is not good for a team.
It's slow and only good for 1v1.

It's not hard to overwhelm a slosher the same way you can overwhelm a sniper.
The basically gave the roller it's type of fling and now the roller is a versatile weapon that can adapt to certain situations and wreck shit.

What's the appeal of inklings anyways?

Missile special is so garbage. I barely get any kills with it because it's so easy to avoid and you can be killed during the animation. Stingray is pretty bad too. Curl bomb spam is meh as fuck unless you're in tight spaces. Splash Down is my favorite although that's not saying much given the quality of the others.

I was honestly expecting the final fight in 2 to be him just multi corkscrew punching me for a solid minute before giving me that ONE punch I could reflect with the rainmaker, and if I fucked getting it off right he was going to try to blender me again...but it never happened. I will say though the starting part with the bomb rush galores was a lot harder then the first two waves from Splatoon 1, but 1's final segment was 10x better then the far too easy rope grinding.

The killer wail and inkstrike were easy to avoid as well. the specials aren't just instant kills for you, you have to use them properly if you're capable of doing so.

I'm actually having a lot of fun with the game even though it can sometimes get damn annoying when you have a weak team member who fucks everything up. Anyone else have a bit of issues aiming downwards with the gyro controls? I feel like tilting upwards feels natural and doesn't take too much movement but then when I want to say shoot downwards from higher up, I have to point the joycon almost at the ground. Maybe I need to recalibrate. Also, the sniper seems pretty fucking OP considering no other gun has anywhere near the range it has. Been consistently doing well with it because of that.
