Also I didn't know Shadow Warrior 2013 was a thing until yesterday when the humble bundle emailed me about it. Pretty good game.

The original Deus Ex was just a fun cyberpunk game, it had some political shit but nothing as hamfisted as the newer ones. It's hardly pretentious though some of its fans can be for sure. It's dated in a lot of bad ways but it's still a great game.

Just keep playing it. I started it when I was depressed and kept playing it even though I didnt really enjoy it. Then once I got halfway the game suddenly clicked and I really enjoyed it. Its like a tub with slightly too hot water, it is uncomfortable to sink yourself in the water, but once you get used to the heat its nice.

Diebuster was pretty neat. Watch it and just play it off as though it's a unique thing and not a sequel to Gunbuster and it goes from being neat to awesome, though.
