This whole character is so badly introduced into the plotline. She joined you to help you gather allies for the fight with darkspawns, yet almost everytime when you encounter someone who will join you, if you help them before, she gets all

It won't be her anymore, not really. She has to accept Mythal willingly but something will happen that makes her do this. It was foreshadowed in DA:I, she said she could not imagine what would have to happen for her to actually accept this. They would not put that line in there just like that. I'm 90% sure Morrigan will have to accept Mythal's power and sacrifice her own personality for some reason. But Morri is a fan favorite, I see a chance for redemption or her finding a way to resist it by sheer force of will.
