I've been playing paragon and Gigantic
both games are superior so I have no reason to go back to smite

I would like this game so much more if 90% of the gods in any given class weren't almost identical with some minor AoE/aesthetic/passive changes. For instance:

>autoattack carry
>linear skillshot
>circular AoE damage skillshot
>dash
>passive that procs after X hits
>ultimate that makes them fly up into the sky and either dive down or shoot people

>spell carry
>linear skillshot that pierces
>delayed circular AoE that disables
>either a heal, mana restore, or proc after X hits passive
>giant wave of burst/CC

I'm not usually one of those guys who thinks that sticking more variety in a game for its own sake is a good idea, but it's ridiculous to have so many characters when they're so similar functionally. Only game I've seen worse in this regard is Brawlhalla.

I only play Smite to play Arena as the Guardian gods and I enjoy Loki because all the ones on my team do stuff when I need them to and all the ones on the enemy team try to 1 v 1 me, waste all their shit and accomplish nothing because they just ticked me and I walked away
