the gamestop i got this at had a giant poster of webs all over the new york skyline sayig go wherever a spider can. i wanted to steal it so bad. i regret nt doing it. the only time ive ever seen that poster again was in the gameinformer for that month. i cant even find it on google. i can still remember seeing the trailer on loop they had and the smell of the manual the first day i got it. i even had one of those spidey controllers that has a light to indicate your health. better times.

i like the combat too. guess im weird. if all you wanna do is swing you can progress through the story doing races to get hero points. the story is as good as a video game movie tie in can get. my only gripe after over a decade of playing it is the lack of extra costumes. would have made for some good post story content.

Yeah i owned this. Pretty neat how you could stealth parts of the first level by not actually shooting anyone. Game doesnt tell you that though. Literally starts you by some ammo an ammo pickup so the first thing you do is pick it up and start shootint the guys with guns. Took me a few days to realise you can blend in with the civilians and go through parts without any combat. The second level was fun too, Skiing down a hill.

Game started to get difficult after that. I think i only ever made it to the 5th level. I hated that one hedgemaze level.

i agree with >>384795515. i have spidey 2 on every system cause im a crazy fucking fan boy, i have the startegy guide too and that looks the best and plays the best. controls are slightly different across each version, but thats not important. if you have a good enough computer, emulate it with dolphin and you can go up to 4k and even mod the texture file sand make new spidey outfits.

This game was like a fever dream to me, the dialogue is so disjointed and weird. It's like everyone's angry at someone off-screen and nobody is really addressing each other properly. Then there's that super form bullshit, whatever it was called, that made levels either piss easy or crazy hard depending on whether or not you had it prepared at the start.

Balls meter, personally I enjoyed random npc conversations because GTA didn't do nearly as well with just yes or no answers. My main gripe with the game is it becomes way too grindy at the end.
