Different playstyles, it's fucking dishonored, shit's not going to be balanced and most people probably won't play full on melee for their playthrough.
Agree on performance, don't see what the issue with textures is, have you not played Dishonored 1? The games have a distinct look. I guess you can argue the cartoonish look doesn't go well with the more gritty and cinematic atmosphere/lighting etc they tried to do in 2.

It's not like the first one was brilliant either. Thief games worked because you had all your tools on you and were expected to use them, Dishonored tried the same approach to level design but had to accommodate people who refuse to use spells, people who can't swordfight or aim the pistol, and people who had weird spell loadouts. End result was excellent maps that you didn't need to explore because you didn't need money or talismans and that you couldn't enjoy because clever play let you breeze them in 15 minutes each. Ghosting the Sokolov mission without a single reload made me feel depressed.

softether is what most people use, there's a lot of trying till you find a server that works though.

Personally I use Mudfish since I had previously used it to lower my ping in FFXIV. $5 of data usage with mudfish will last you a literal infinite amount of time with how little data mmo's use. To top it off the way mudfish works is that it ONLY data regarding to the program you're running the vpn for (in this case DDO) through the vpn, leaving the rest of your internet usage unaffected. Don't have to worry about any steps regarding turning it off that way.

So of course you COULD go stealthy, you COULD explore every book and every corner of the maps, but you didn't have any advantage by it.

Usually, when you have 100+ hours in a game and know it in and out, you may start doing self-/community-imposed challenges, like going through without a kill in a level that isn't even designed for it. Dishonored skipped the first 100 hours of having fun with the game and sjumped to "artificial" challenges right from the start, in a way.

Playing CK2. Formed Poland few years ago.
Now the King of West Francia managed to take over hte Holy Roman Empire and is now the Emperor.
He is also married to the Empress of the Byzantine Empire. Meaning his kid will be Emperor of both.
The AI is really off the hook in this play-through. Not only did they manage to form HRE by themselves but also mend the schism and unite half of Europe. Fuck me.

My plan currently is to convert to Catholicism so I can live peacefully with our new Roman overlords and go crusading in the East in the name of God.

AFAIK the trick with dragons is to stack as many buffs as you can (inn/camp/food/potion/spell/etc), use item summons as distraction, and hope you get lucky landing debuffs and stuns on the dragon. It helps if everyone in your party has at least 4 ranks in Survival, so you can get the Accuracy vs Beasts bonus from camping, since Dragons count as Beasts. Getting that +10 (or more, if you push your Survival really high) helps a lot with getting your stuns to stick.

The first time I beat them I got pretty lucky. My whole party was KO at the end apart from Aloth who dealt the final blow.

Total War: Warhammer.

The King and the Warlord DLC, my halfstack dorf army was attacked by 2 full stack greenskin shitters.

What you're looking at is the later part of the fight, where 100% of my army were dead or routed and only 2 dorfs remained; the King and a Lord.

Ended up winning because their lords all died and the enemy were fucking exhausted after trying to get through the dorf line that assembled after I pulled everyone back.

90% of this campaign has been fighting desperate defences against overwhelming armies desu.

Also if you're aiming for stars (you should be) then you gotta understand that puzzle rooms can be connected. You can leave or have different rooms interact with each other. Thinking outside the box is key.
