This is true. When you start killing soldiers, they get frantic and it's easier to spot you. And if you get alerted, guards start calling for backup if you're lethal.

You can stun guards by deploying a decoy balloon while they're standing right next to it, Gaurds are drawn to the noise of the decoy balloon pod landing.

If you're sprinting and have your fist equipped, punching is an instand knockout, enemies will not be able to trigger an alert phase in the time it takes them to turn around, this is even more overpowered when you've fully upgraded your mobility, you can punch your way through an entire base as long as they aren't looking your way when you go for it.

The only character i recall from Peace Walker apart from the main cast of faggots was Alligator because i saw him "grew" from a faggot working in the dinner to a full blown soldier, when i played Ground Zeros and saw motherbase begin fucked over i just thought "welp there goes fucking Alligator", it did evoke a very small emotional response but a response at least.

The whole "heartless sea" scene kinda did it for me because i fucking killed some S skill soldiers in the mission, one of them was the first one i took in as a S soldier that help me develop some stupid shit i wanted to get early on, i recall his name is Angry Beaver.

So if that scene and mission made me recall a faceless grunt that i had doing jack shit in motherbase and my only interaction with him was scout him and fulton his ass, i will say that it was a job well done.

Every human reacts differently to stuff, call it autism or whatever but even the normie coworkers i had and some normie people at college were talking (and spoiling) how powerful that scene felt along side losing Quiet.

So if that scene can affect normies and neckbeards alike, it accomplished its job.
