Why the fuck do you faggots care about a fighting game's story mode?
Fighting games need: tight fighting mechanics, a big/diverse roster, game balance, and a few basic modes like arcade, survival, and versus. If those conditions are not met in a modern fighting game, then it's shit. If those conditions are met, the game will be good. A story mode merely embellishes a good fighting game, but does not make a bad fighting game good.

+Gameplay is solid as fuck
+Story mode is good if you actually follow the mishima stuff
+Online works really well
+Graphics are very good
+Akuma looks brilliant visually


-New characters are all monumentally shit
-Story mode is shit if you don't care about mishimas
-Rage arts/drives & invincible moves are handholding shit

This is my first Tekken after being a SF player and the biggest reason this game justifies its price tag for me is the gameplay. It has actual depth, the character balance seems really good. There seems to be enough about each character to be able to main it and see continuous improvement in your game.

That said, what the FUCK is with this generation of fighting games' load times?? SF4 loaded matches in like 10 seconds, for fuck's sake... No rematch option in player matches until that new patch? Honestly, what the fuck were they thinking with some of this stuff. Quality of life aspects of video games matter.
