How does Final Fantasy Tactics Advance fare compared to the original?

It's fine, but I prefer the original more. If you don't like FFTA, you won't like the sequel.

I think it's a nice game, however they simplified and removed some mechanics.
The law system is more of a chore than anything since most of the times the rules are easy to manipulate, follow or just remove once you get the law cards.
