it does. having an anime artstyle already knocks it down like 3 points. Anime is simple and cheap to reproduce in comparison to realistic graphics. and anime games are often so low in budget with bad gameplay it's just not worht taking a risk

The only anime artstyle game that's remotely good is the SMT series, persona included. Everything else its better to play something else

Rabi-Ribi was one of my most fun gaming experiences I had last year. I wouldn't have played it if I just judged it by the art alone. Not that the art is terrible or anything, if you're into that it's fine and the sprite work is nice but it doesn't appeal to me. I'm not against fanservice but I'm not into it.

The game was so fun, I just didn't care.

While I don't mind a non obnoxious anime style, so far I have yet to find a chink game I'd be willing to play anyway.

Less Likely. Anime is cringe most of the time because Japanese people are beta cucks, so every game they make has teens in highschool or some stupid plot to save the world. If you want to beat off to the pantyshots, then fine, but you can't say you're getting anything out of these games aside from cliches and panty shots/general ecchi.
