At first I was absolutely disgusted, but now that i've seen more of him in action I think he does some interesting things and has fun animations. You're really confusing the issue here. People don't stop playing the game, they stop playing randoms online because randoms stopped playing the game and went back to Street Fighter. The online for smaller fighters is a self-fulfilling prophecy. The game starts off with less players to begin with at various locations all across the world very spread out playing at totally different times of day, which makes you wait longer to get games, which makes people say the game is dead, which makes people stop playing online, which makes the online dead. If you want to play those games you have to join the Discord. It's just the fact of the matter. Point being though that people still play the games, just not in the mode you're looking at.
