Taiko uses a shit ton of songs from different media so it's a licencing nightmare. There's also not a very big market for rhythm games in the west. You can just buy it digitally from asia.

Is there a demo I could try out for any of the games, on any system? Obviously I can't demo the drums unless I try it at an arcade, but I'd play the demo with a controller

after playing on an actual arcade cabinet i dont think i could be satisfied playing on those small shitty drums that come with the console version
