Blanks produce dramatically more powerful effects than anything Tidus showed in the game. For instance, daemons are literally unable to perceive them as they have no soul/warp presence, and weaker daemons might just get thrown back into the warp as their psychic bond to realspace is disrupted by the blank's mere presence. The Codex, as well as just common Chapter practice, also says that when matters of internal purity come into question, that shit is to be handled in house. Thats the entire reason that motherfucking Chaplains exist in the first place. Marines don't need or want outside organizations messing with their internal affairs. Going over the head of the whole damn Chapter to call in an Inquisitor would get you drummed out of service so fast your head would spin.

Really, at worst the Inquisitor would press Titus into service as part of his retinue for a few years.

An inquisitor wouldn't want to make the Ultramarines enemies by executing or killing a marine. Especially one who just saved a major force world. They can get away with ork snipers on third rate chapters like the Celestial Lions, but the Ultrasmurfs are probably the largest or 2nd largest chapter and have a fucking ton of weight.
