Most of the dungeons felt like a chore to get through and I just wanted to rush through them. The Egyptian one and the one with the vault doors felt like they went on forever.

Excellent taste. Feels like the only sort of character who has real character development alongside with his social link. In your party members social links, your friends change in their social link interactions but as a group they stay the same from the day they enter the picture. Ryuji is still a retard, Yusuke is still autistic and Ann is still dumb.

Sojiro on the other hand goes from being an absolute hardass on you to slowly getting to really cherish you, both in and out of the S.Link and he even fucking cries when Joker leaves. Sojiro > Dojima erryday

Yeah I feel like locking his link's progress with the story was probably the reason for that. They should consider doing that with more characters, rather than arbitrary stat checks.

The bosses don't even have weaknesses in this game. They all have a simple gimmick that you can learn while fighting them.
