Roboute's a statesman who put the Ultramar in a state of near utopia. Him coming back to help the Imperium recover from the storm Magnus created, as well as pointing the right way for the Imperium, was one of the better choices of the loyalists from that standpoint.

Leman was mentioned in the 8th edition trailer, so he'll most likely be the one to return next to the Imperium, or at the very least considered to be a loyalist that will show up again to fight for the Imperium. Next I'd like to see Rogal come back to help build a good infrastructure that prevents other xenos and chaos to be able to penetrate loyalist strongholds.. Also Corvus, Lion and Vulkan. Lion, so he can deal with the Fallen more efficiently. Perhaps with some aid from Roboute, I guess. (I'd love for Sanguinius to come back, if it truly were the case that Sanguinior was Sanguinius going under a different alias.)

I should have clarified. The ultramarines themselves are sue as fuck. Theyre practically a legion in all but name. Turning back the tides of chaos. Reinstating the realm of ultramar. Saving the blood angels and their successors from leviathan on their own turf. In the BRB and dark imperium they have been doing the impossible.
The characters themselves are flawed. Calgar becoming jaded with his primarch and humanity. Felix isn't confident at all and continually doubts himself. Gooberman is extremely fucking jaded. He is a hypocrite and he knows it. He is bitter as all hell towards the emps.

He legitimately doesn't like the feeling of giving up his spot as top dog to Rob. He knows rob isn't hiding the fact that the days of the older marines are limited and the primaris are the future. He also gets annoyed at him because he thinks he assumed command too easily. He takes offense at things Rob says about him.
