I don't see how that ties in with the thread or my post, but I can't say you are wrong per se, although have anime characters rendered in 3D ever worked? I can't think of a single instance. The tales series sort of gets away with it, but even there the 3D models just look off compared to the 2D art. 3DPD has a core of truth.

Blatant sexualization makes me connect less with a character and ironically makes any sort of potential sexual pleasure less likely as the character stops being a character and just starts being an object. I don't even mean this in the neo liberal sense either, quite the opposite really. More in Victorian England sense. Sexualization of a character rarely adds anything to them, but often diminishes them instead. Not to mention it breaks immersion completely as all I am seeing is a blatant attempt from some studio to try and make my penis make my purchase decisions, instead of an interesting character I would want to invest time into finding more about.

I honestly thought Valkyria looked like complete arse, both it's graphics as its design. Then again that isn't really what I judged the game in anyway.
Never played any of the dragonquests because I keep hearing the story is as compelling as a toddlers pop-up book.
Also is ZeldaWW really 2D rendered in 3D? I have not actually seen any of its footage yet. I thought it was some sort of cell shaded 3D games not unlike borderlands.

The time limits are incredibly lax. Once you know what you're doing you'll be able to meet progression requirements in a few days and have the entire rest of the evaluation period to explore. They're only there so you don't grind, and instead always look to new opportunities to keep the pacing going. You judged it too harshly too soon.

In terms of capturing a hand drawn anime style, it did it very well. Movement is kind of odd, but it doesn't take long to get used to it. If you're looking for properly rendered 3D models that look anime, it did it.

You probably don't deserve to play any game if you follow other people's views like sheep. Most of my favorite games were games 'people' hated. Glad I tried them myself instead of passing on them.

You asked for 3D characters who looked like anime. But even then, Dragon Quest VIII and Ni no Kuni come pretty close to looking like an actual anime, despite having 3D models.

To be fair, if he got the original Rorona then the time limit in that one was anything but lax and you needed a guide if you wanted to see all the endings. Same with Totori. The time limits didn't really start to get pretty lenient until Meruru and everything after.

Well to be fair on your to be fair note, a ton of Japanese games require guides. It isn't like in the west where using a guide is seen as either cheating, a sign of incompetence or a idiotic unwillingness to "just play the game". In Nippon the guide is just another tool to get the most out of your game and not miss any of the possible cool endings. It is this mentality that also spawns the crazy 100% completion games with boatloads of shit to collect and do. In a way in Japan you are being the fool if you play WITHOUT a guide, why would you want to miss out on any of the stuff the devs added?

The point was that in Meruru and the later games you could easily get the True Endings playing blindly because the time limits allowed you much more time to explore, see events, try new things, and still have time to meander around and explore without worrying too much if you messed something up or not. With the original Rorona and Totori you had to follow very specific guidelines that allowed little to no room for error if you wanted to get the True Ends and one mistake or even wasting a single day could screw you out of them even if you were near the end of the game. I'm not saying there shouldn't be no effort at all required to reach certain goals, but I can understand why people would be turned off by strict time limits if it means you have to meticulously follow a guide from the moment you start playing. Doesn't really make it feel like you have any freedom and are just going down a list checking off boxes.
