I know Switch is probably never getting third party support as is but what if microsoft dropped out of the console race? Would third parties consider putting their games on Switch then?

Not really. The only real shake-up would be in the Americas. Everywhere else, the XBOX brand is now a punchline, so you'd just have a bunch more people buying a PS4.
